Police probe report of animal cruelty at Charleston aquarium

(AP) — Police are investigating animal cruelty at the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston after a report that a temporary worker shut off life-support systems for the aquarium's massive salt water tank. A police report says staffers found electrical breakers had been manually turned off and set up a camera and saw a temporary worker throwing the switches.
