Forecasters issue flash flood watch for Gulf Coast

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Forecasters have issued a flash flood watch for much of the northern Gulf Coast as a broad low pressure system threatens to dump more than 10 inches of rain in places. The weather service says rainfall accumulations of 5 to 10 inches are possible in the region, and isolated spots could get twice that much rain.
