A Midwestern Thanksgiving

The Huffington Post

On the eve of Thanksgiving I share with you this poignant essay by my husband in memory of Juanita Bell Betty June Smith who passed away on this day in 2012. The evidence includes blood flakes from the floor of the vehicle, bloodstains from the driver’s and passenger’s seats, a swab from the car’s ignition area, and a bloodstain swab from the rear passenger door.
