(AP) — Police stopped a stolen vehicle in a Twin Cities suburb and found the driver in labor and some of her seven child passengers with their mouths taped shut. Police say an officer stopped the vehicle in Ramsey, Minnesota, just after midnight Tuesday for a traffic violation and learned it had been stolen.

Rhode Island’s legal pot proponents on Wednesday plan to officially kick off their fight to pass state legislation this year.

Nearly 150 inmates not fingerprinted in Tippecanoe County

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Prosecutors in Tippecanoe County say they’ve determined that nearly 150 former inmates need to be fingerprinted after glitches with the jail’s fingerprint machine.
