GLEN OSMOND, Australia, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- An Australian snake catcher was called to a South Australia home where an 11-year-old girl found a venomous eastern brown snake in an inflatable pool boat.

Tony Rosato, whose credits included “Saturday Night Live” and “SCTV,” died Tuesday of an apparent heart attack, the Hamilton Spectator reports. Rosato’s agent, Larry Goldhar, told the Spectator that the actor’s death was “heartbreaking,” adding, He is truly one of the gentlest people I have ever met. ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota's Senate has passed a bill providing relief for massive health insurance premium hikes.

California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom has vowed to do everything in his power to block Trump’s plan to build a wall along the Mexican border.  In an interview with the LA Times, Newsom says he will take advantage of various environmental laws at his disposal to stop Trump in his tracks and sabotage his plans for building the controversial wall.
