Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has filed lawsuits against hundreds of Hawaii families who retain rights to small parcels of land within the vast estate he purchased on Kauai for close to $100 million.

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Fishing regulators are going to allow fishermen to catch more smooth dogfish, a species of increasing interest in commercial fisheries. The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission says the smooth dogfish quota for 2017 will be nearly 4 million pounds.

China’s economy — the second largest globally behind the United States — finished 2016 far stronger than where it began, with economic growth accelerating strongly in the final quarter of the year. 

According to China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s economy grew by 6.8% year-on-year in the final quarter of the year, above the 6.7% pace expected.
