Missouri trial set for woman in millionaire dad's death

(AP) — A suburban Kansas City attorney is going on trial for murder in the 2010 deaths of her millionaire father and his girlfriend. The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/2kEsKjP ) reports that jury selection is expected to begin Monday in southern Missouri's Laclede County in the trial of 48-year-old Susan Van Note of Lee's Summit.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — One 17-year-old boy is dead and a 17-year-old girl is injured after they were struck by a train in southern Arizona. The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the accident occurred Saturday afternoon in Vail while the two teens were on a train trestle. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while the girl was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
