LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police are investigating the stabbing death of a man in an alley behind a Las Vegas business. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the stabbing late Saturday night. Authorities say the victim and an unidentified man were involved in a fight behind the business. The death marks the 16th homicide investigated so far this year by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
HAMILTON, N.J. (AP) — State police say a pursuit involving a drunken teenage driver ended with a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike and the youth and two men facing weapons and drug charges. The 2008 law requires emergency rooms to give sexual assault victims information about the so-called "morning-after pill," to provide the drugs on request, and to train staff about the drugs. The Department of Human Services says the hospital failed to inform three sexual assault patients about emergency contraception or make it available.
