Chef Teague Moriarty takes over as sole owner of Sons & Daughters

Photo by Eric Millette Matt McNamara, one half of the prolific chef duo behind Sons & Daughters, is stepping down as co-owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant to become the sole owner of sister restaurant The Square in North Beach, the bar and grill he opened with Teague Moriarty in 2014. The split was amicable regarding both projects, they said. In fact, Sons & Daughters is going to continue using produce from McNamara’s 83-acre Dark Hill Farm in Santa Cruz.
