Janna Hoehn, a member of a group called Faces Never Forgotten, is searching for a photo of Harold Joseph Marrietta, the Casa Grande Dispatch reported (http://bit.ly/2qqfZh1). Ken Ackerman, whose classic, stentorian radio announcer’s voice graced Bay Area airwaves for more than five decades, has died. Mr. Ackerman is best remembered as the soothing announcer on the overnight music program “Music ’Til Dawn” on KCBS. Mr. Ackerman, who was born in 1922 and raised in Sacramento, got into radio while attending Grant Union High School, announcing a student program that aired on KROY.
