Director-General Roberto Azevêdo, on 29 May, opened the week-long “Geneva Week” for WTO members and observers who do not have permanent missions in Geneva. He briefed participants on recent WTO developments, including the entry into force of the Trade Facilitation Agreement and the TRIPS Agreement Amendment, as well as on the preparations for the WTO’s 11th Ministerial Conference in Buenos Aires in December this year.
