Kimberley Paige Barnette, the 53-year-old running for mayor, was quickly rebuked by the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, and was forced to apologise for the remarks. “VOTE FOR ME!” Ms Barnette wrote on her Facebook page, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Athletic apparel retailer Lululemon reported a 13% year-over-year (YoY) increase in net revenue to $581.1 million for Q2 2017, as e-commerce revenue jumped 29% YoY to approximately $112 million.
