Caller alerts cops about pistol, bullets

An unidentified caller on Thursday afternoon alerted police about a pistol and few bullets in the dicky of a junked scooter in the basement of a building near Phadke Houd Chowk at Kasba Peth, prompting cops to suspect the firearm was used in the firing case at a Kothrud mall last month.
