Petition to recall 3 South Texas city officials certified

CRYSTAL CITY, Texas (AP) — A petition has been certified calling for the recall of the mayor and two council members in a South Texas town now facing federal criminal charges.

Crystal City council member Joel Barajas (bah-RAH'-has) said the petition was certified Thursday by the city clerk as ordered by a judge.
