Why compensation not paid to farmers, HC asks

Acting on a petition filed by farmers from Gurgaon district, whose crops were damaged due to unseasonal rain in 2015, the Punjab and Haryana high court on Thursday asked the Haryana government to explain as to why had they not been compensated even after one year.
