“Sooner or later, we are going to see names like Ronaldo, Messi and Rooney in this league — players on this level.”

The moves for Jackson Martinez from Atletico Madrid, Alex Texeira from Shakhter Donesk and Ramires from Chelsea were the most expensive in the past transfer window.
