It was 2007. Army Staff Sgt. Jacob Thompson was in Baqubah, Iraq, having re-enlisted for another tour of duty. As a team leader, he and four others went into a house suspected to be booby-trapped to search for terrorists and weapons. The house collapsed, and Thompson was one of four soldiers killed instantly.
