Assembly to vote on drug treatment dollars

(AP) — Drug treatment and diversion programs would get an additional $2 million annually under a bill the state Assembly is set to take up.

The money would come out of the state Department of Health Services account for mental health hospitals and institutions and be redistributed to counties through grants.
