Scientists bid farewell to comet lander Philae

It is time to bid final good bye to the Philae lander, a fridge-sized machine that landed on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko on November 12, 2014, the European Space Agency announced on Friday. Philae lander is facing conditions on the comet from which it is unlikely to recover.
