Baker seeks funds for local roads, files spending bill

The Republican governor on Friday also filed a separate $170 million spending bill that includes funds for emergency homeless shelter programs and legal services for low-income people.

Baker says the $170 million spending bill would cover shortfalls in the state budget for the fiscal year ending July 1.
