Maya Rudolph and Martin Short Get Their Shot at an NBC Variety Series

The pickup comes after Neil Patrick Harris' NBC variety series Best Time Ever was dropped after one season.

The show will be a weekly live combination of music numbers, sketches and celebrity guests, and will be filmed inside NBC's headquarters at 30 Rock in New York City.
