The Walking Dead's Emily Kinney Joins ABC's Conviction

The actress will join Marvel's Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell in ABC's pilot Conviction, about a woman who is blackmailed into a job at the Los Angeles Conviction Integrity Unit, TVLine reports.

Kinney's character, Tess Thompson, is the group's "bright-but-naive paralegal who hides an underlying dark sadness," and believes that she can make a bigger difference turning over wrongful convictions from inside the system.
