The mentally challenged woman who brought her baby into the world by herself in Ghana, has reportedly had her baby stolen

The mad woman who had her baby in a bushy area off the main Takoradi-Effiakuma road, close to the Takoradi Technical Institute in Ghana, reportedly had her baby taken from her by people who said they were going to take the baby to a hospital for proper care.

According to recent reports, the baby never made it to the hospital as the individual who took her from the woman, never went there.

Eye witnesses said the lady who took the baby said she was going to take her to the Mrs Cudjoe Maternity Home, to be checked out and properly taken care of, but the hospital authorities have denied ever setting eyes on the baby.

According to Madam Deborah Kwabea, the head of the department of social welfare in the area, the maternity home said the baby was never brought there. Here’s what she was quoted as saying:

“This means that something has happened somewhere. Currently, we are looking for people who would volunteer information so that we trace the whereabouts of the baby.”

Another witness, identified as Paa Kwesi Simpson, a senior staff of Skyy Media Group, is said to be in possession of a video recording that will help find the people who took the baby.
