'We refuse to be devastated by this,' ex-mayor says about son facing 18 arson counts

A former Mayerthorpe mayor, the father of a 19-year-old man facing 18 charges of arson in the Alberta town, says his family is grateful no one was hurt in the fires that tore through the community in the past week.
