Soggy Cinco de Mayo expected as showers roll into Bay Area

A weather system creeping into the Bay Area is forecast to bring light showers Wednesday and into the Cinco de Mayo holiday, but should clear out Sunday in time for Mother’s Day.

Temperatures are also expected to drop Wednesday, struggling to reach 60 degrees and stay around five to eight degrees below normal, Anderson said.
