S.F. Oysterfest returns with more food, music

The food festival is back with more oyster booths, plus a new Early Bird special ($1 off oysters until 2 p.m.) and wine pairing experience.

Even those with an aversion to oysters will have plenty to revel in as Oysterfest boasts an eclectic musical lineup that includes electro-funk duo Chromeo, Richmond-born rapper IamSu! and San Francisco’s own deep house artist Miguel Migs.

Myles O’Reilly, president of O’Reilly’s Productions, which produces the festival, says he always strives to give the event “a boutique festival feel in the age of mega festivals” despite its big name acts.

“We love walking through the crowds of our festivals, enjoying the music and oysters right along with the audience,” O’Reilly says.
