AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Whole Foods Market Inc. (WFM) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $142 million.

The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 41 cents per share.
