Woman stabbed to death on San Francisco’s Potrero Hill

San Francisco police officers were investigating a fatal stabbing of a woman Friday in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, officials said.

Officers were called to the house at 10:54 a.m. and detained a man for questioning in the killing, said Officer Grace Gatpandan, a police spokeswoman.

A motive for the slaying remained under investigation.
