Non-tenure faculty at U of Illinois agree to first contract

(AP) — Faculty at the University of Illinois' flagship campus who are not on tenure tracks have approved a five-year contract their union negotiated with the school.

Union President Shawn Gilmore told The News-Gazette (http://bit.ly/1rynXR0 ) that members of the Non-Tenure Track Faculty Coalition Local 6546 "overwhelmingly" voted to approve the new deal.
