Woman found dead after Dallas apartment fire

DALLAS (AP) — Authorities say a woman's body was found after a fire was extinguished at a Dallas apartment complex.

The fire was reported around 1:40 p.m. Friday. Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said that when the fire was extinguished, firefighters found the unidentified woman inside.

Authorities are investigating the woman's death as a homicide. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
