Gord Downie underwent surgery for 'incurable' brain cancer, his doctor says

Gord Downie underwent surgery and six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation after he was diagnosed months ago with an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer known as glioblastoma, his Toronto doctor said today after fans of the Tragically Hip learned its lead singer has the disease.
