Leagues across Europe came to an end over the weekend after playing Cup finals in their respective countries around the continent.
Naij.com Sports looks at the seven clubs that won their various domestic cups in the concluding phase of the 2015/16 season.
1. Paris Saint Germain: The French Champions completed a season double after edging Olympique Marsielle 4-2 with outgoing striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting two out of the goals for the Parisians.

2. Juventus: The old lady of Europe had a slow start to both in the league and Champions League season but fought back to retain their fifth title in six years.

3. Manchester United: The most successful English club over the weekend wrapped up their season with an FA Cup win over Crystal Palace at the Wembley Stadium with a 2-1 victory after extra time and equaled Arsenal’s record of 12 FA Cup wins.

Juan Mata cancelled Jason Puncheon’s 78 minute goal and in time added on Jesse Lingard completed the comeback with a powerful shot that gave Wayne Hennessey no chance.
4. Bayern Munich: Manchester City bound Pep Guardiola ended his spell in Germany in style by winning the DFB Pokal Cup after defeating rivals Borussia Dortmund 4-3 on penalties with Douglas Costa netting the deciding kick.

5. Barcelona: The Spanish La Liga Champions won their 28th title overall and their fifth straight Copa Del Rey titles with a hard fought 2-0 victory over Sevilla.

The Baulgrana have dominated Spanish football in the last three years winning the La Liga title for the third year running over eternal rivals, Real Madrid.
6. Sporting Braga: The Taça de Portugal final was a keenly contested match between favourites, FC Porto and Sporting Braga but the Braga carried the day winning 4-2 on penalties.

The match ended 2-2 in regulation time compounding Porto’s woes in their dismal campaign.
7. Feyenoord: After placing third in the Eredivisie and securing a Europa League berth for next season, Feyenoord had something to smile about with a 2-1 win over FC Utretch in the Dutch cup final to conclude their season on a high.
