Teacher who was attacked hopes to return to classroom soon

(AP) — A Washington high school teacher who was attacked in his classroom after school ended says he is recovering from his injuries and hopes to return to the classroom as soon as possible.

Pygott says he working on a machine in his classroom Thursday afternoon when he was hit from behind and knocked unconscious.
