The New York Giants’ defensive end doesn’t want what happened to him to happen to you, so he has made a public service announcement about it.

Last Fourth of July, Pierre-Paul lost an index finger and part of his thumb, and was required to have reconstructive surgery to save his middle finger, when a fireworks device exploded in his hand.

After a bad loss, such as Thursday at Wimbledon, one of Britain’s top female tennis players says she punishes herself by reading the haters’ comments posted on Twitter.

“There’s always going to be people saying stuff,” said Watson, 24, who lost to Annika Beck of Germany 3-6, 6-0, 12-10 in a first-round match that took two days to complete because of rain.
