Doolittle to DL with sore shoulder

Any trade talk involding A’s reliever Sean Doolittle will have to wait, as the club placed the left-hander on the 15-day disabled list Thursday, retroactive to June 26, with a strained left shoulder.Oakland also optioned right-handed pitcher Zach Neal to Nashville and recalled left-handed pitcher Daniel Coulombe and right-handed pitcher Andrew Triggs from Triple-A Nashville.

Coulombe, 26, joins the A’s for the fourth time this year and is 1-0 with a 4.61 ERA in 10 relief appearances.
