2 construction workers injured after truck hits lift

SEATTLE (AP) — Two construction workers were seriously injured in a fall after their elevated basket under the West Seattle bridge was struck by a truck.

KOMO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/29y1iwD ) that the workers fell Friday morning.

Both workers were rushed to Harborview Medical Center. The Seattle Fire Department says one worker suffered life-threatening injuries and the other is in serious condition.

The mishap occurred near West Seattle Bridge at the Admiral Way off ramp.

There has been earthquake-safety construction under the bridge.___
