How Much Roger Goodell Made In 2015 Will Make You Sick

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is a fantastically wealthy man. Up until last year, we conclusively knew this, because the NFL's previous non-profit status forced the league to make Goodell's annual salary public. That was supposed to change in April 2015, when the NFL gave up its tax-exempt status as a "non-profit" under pressure from Congress. But a logistical part of that changeover forced another filing from the NFL in 2016, thus making the commissioner's 2015 salary public. 

So here we go. Goodell earned an eight-figure salary in 2015, a year in which the NFL: 1) Threw the league's legal war chest at Tom Brady and Deflategate, 2) couldn't figure out what a catch is (again), 3) saw its domestic violence efforts undermined, 4) failed to protect concussed players multiple times, and 5) wouldn't let its players wear accessories to honor dead moms.
