Knowing what to do and what not do on Fridays is very important. The hallmark of Friday is observing Salaatul Jumuah, which is the weekly Friday prayer. Apart from not missing Salaatul Jumuah, there are some things to do every Friday.
1. Reciting Suuratul Kahf
Suuratul Kahf is chapter 18 of the Glorious Qur’an. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon his noble soul) said if anyone recites Suuratul Kahf on Yaomul Jumuah, Allah will make a light for him between the Friday he recited chapter 18 and the coming Friday. It is advisable to recite this chapter every Friday.
2. Seeking more blessings for Prophet Muhammad
A Muslim should ask Allah to always shower His blessings and mercies on His Prophet, which is known as Tasleem. The best way of seeking blessings for the Messenger of Allah is to say the Tasleem of Salaatul Ibraheemiyya.

When a Muslims does Tasleem on the Messenger, the angels say 10 for the person.

3. Giving out money for Sadaqa
Sadaqa is the money given out of free will to a person who needs financial assistance without expecting anything in return. Muslims should try to give out more of their wealth on Yaomul Jumuah.
4. Being in the best attire
Prophet Muhammad said Allah is a clean God and he will not accept anything except it is clean. It is totally wrong for a Muslim to be in dirty attire or look unkempt and dirty.
The statement that cleanliness is next to Godliness is an accepted one in Islam.
5. Getting to the Masjid on time
It is the best thing to do. Going late for Jumuah has no place in Islam. The earlier the better is always the best statement in Islam.
