That’s certainly the case for the Marina District this week. Earlier in the week, the neighborhood lost decade-old Japanese eatery, Umami. This weekend, Chestnut Street will celebrate the grand opening of two popular San Francisco-based chains. Today (Friday, July 1), Tacolicious will open for dinner in its brand-spankin’ new Marina location, which replaces their original flagship that was located a few blocks away. Menu and hours for the new location will be the same as before, but diners can look forward to a larger restaurant space
