Rhode Island offers new specialty license plates

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — License plates commemorating farm labor leader Cesar Chavez, the Rocky Point park along Narragansett Bay and the Lupus Foundation could be showing up on Rhode Island cars.

Among 45 bills signed into law Wednesday by Democratic Gov. Gina Raimondo are several allowing specialty license plates.
