Victor Barrio is the first matador to die on the job in Spain in more than 30 years.
Spanish bullfighter Victor Barrio died Saturday after he was gored in the chest by a bull as the fight was being broadcast live on television.

Barrio, 29, is the first matador to die in a Spanish bullfighting arena since 1985.

Barrio was participating in a bull fight competition in the eastern town of Teruel.

In a video of the event, Barrio can been seen slowly teasing the bull, when he is suddenly thrown into the air and then onto the ground, where the bull gores him in the chest with its horns.
