Here's who can now apply to become a Supreme Court of Canada justice

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a new way Supreme Court of Canada justices will be appointed — an open application process so any qualified Canadian lawyer or judge who is functionally bilingual can apply for a spot.
