Seoul hints at action against sharp gain in local currency

SEJONG, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korea may take market-stabilizing actions against any sharp currency swings amid the won's recent gain against the U.S. dollar, the vice finance minister said Tuesday.

The won closed at a 13-month high of 1,108 won
