The All Progressives Congress (APC) has waded into the crossfire between the speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara and the former chairman of the committee on appropriation Abdulmumin Jibrin.
The party in a invitation summoned Jibrin to its headquarters in Abuja.
In respect to the party’s summons, Jibrin appeared at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, August 2.
Following media reports that he (Jibrin) was summoned by the disciplinary committee of the APC, Jibrin in a statement sent to NAIJ.com said the party only invited him to respect of the crisis in the House.
“That I only received a letter yesterday evening inviting me to a meeting in respect of the current crisis in the House today by 2 pm at the party’s secretariat,” Jibrin had said.
