Kansas game highlights Stanford men’s basketball’s 2016-17 nonconference schedule

Stanford will make trips to Kansas, SMU and the Advocare Invitational in Orlando, according to the Cardinal’s 2016-17 nonconference schedule announced Tuesday. In the first season of the Jerod Haase era, Stanford could face up to six teams away from campus who made the 2016 NCAA Tournament: the Jayhawks, Miami, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Weber State and Seton Hall. The Cardinal’s final nonconference road game will be a Dec. 19 matchup at SMU, which won 25 games last season. In early September, confirmed dates and times for the Cardinal’s conference games will be announced.
