Woman accused of biting officer's ear off held without bail

(AP) — A Massachusetts woman charged with biting off a portion of a rookie police officer's ear during her arrest outside a Salem bar has been held without bail.

Emma Wiley pleaded not guilty Monday in to charges including mayhem, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
