Farmer nabbed for selling 7 children for N400,000
– A farmer in Kogi state has been nabbed for abducting and selling children
– Gabriel Ajor, 49, was arraigned by the Kogi state police command before a Lokoja Magistrate Court
– Ajor’s two sons were among the children he sold
The Kogi state police command has arraigned a 49-year-old farmer, Gabriel Ajor before a Lokoja Chief Magistrate Court.

Ajor has been accused for allegedly abducting and selling 7 children, including his two sons and an eight-year-old baby for N400,000.

Ajor was said to have abducted the children from their parents under the pretext of sending them to schools in Owerri and United States of America, USA.
According to Nigerian Pilot, the parents whose names were given as Kenneth Omale and John Attah, were said to have been tricked by Ajor.
Prosecuting police officer, ASP Cornet Ayabatu said the accused from Nwajala in Ibaji local government area of Kogi state had between March and June this year, criminally conspired with others now at large to commit the offence.
The matter was then reported to the police on Friday, July 8 by one of the affected parent at the police area command office, Idah and Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Lokoja.
The affected children names were given as; Goodway Kenneth, 5; Kindness Kenneth, 3; Shedrack John, 6; Goodday John, 6; Confidence Ojonuba, 8 months old; Gift Gabriel, 6 and Destiny Gabriel, 3; all male.
They were allegedly taken to undisclosed destination that could not be traced as at the time of this report.

Just last week, a bricklayer in Oyero area of Ijoko, Ogun state, Ola Ibikunle was arrested by the police after he confessed that he sells stolen children for N1, 500.
Ibikunle was caught when he was strangling a 4-year-old-girl, Eniola whom he just abducted.
