Marvel's 'Luke Cage' Comes Complete With Tiara In A New Trailer

Between Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Marvel is building a rich TV universe arguably better than the one it’s got up on screens. There’s plenty to love about this trailer, from Luke in his fancy tiara in the opening as we see his origin, to all sorts of nods in the trailer from a photo of Biggie in Cornell Stokes’ office to Luke reading one of Walter Mosley’s Easy Rawlins mysteries. Probably the most interesting touch, though, is how Marvel is making the series stand out: It appears that Luke is going fully public with his identity, which seems to have some pretty nasty consequences and changes the dynamic of his heroism.
