Man, 82, Breaks Down After He's Given A New Dog

We all know who man’s best friend really is and an 82-year-old man just proved it once again. His nine-year-old English Springer Spaniel named Swift died last month while both John Payne and his wife were hospitalized, leaving Payne heartbroken. But the couple’s granddaughter surprised them with a rescue spaniel named Fly.

Payne, whose story was featured on Inside Edition, put down his crutches to greet his new dog and openly wept. Spoiler alert: Better get your tissues ready.
