New Voorhees president says increasing enrollment a priority

DENMARK, S.C. (AP) — The new president of Voorhees College says increasing enrollment at the historically black college in Bamberg County is a top priority.

The enrollment at the private college affiliated with the Episcopal Church is currently about 400 students and Evans wants to increase that to more than 700.
